The Joint Administration Matriculation Board (JAMB) corrected of registration data of the candidates who participated in the UTME examination and the ones who are applying as a Direct Entry candidate to make amendments to their data like the change of institution and course.
The change of data is limited to candidates making amendments to their data like the change of date of birth, phone number, email, and complete name. This means that you can't change any other thing except your choice of course, your institution, and misspelled names.
Like emphasis more on what data can be changed on the JAMB platform.
Data that can be changed
Correction of misspelled names is allowed for candidates who have made a minor error, such as missing a letter or swapping one letter for another. For instance, if a candidate wrote "Amhed" instead of "Ahmad." However, it's important to note that complete changes from one name to another, like "Peter" to "Paul," are not permissible through this amendment process.
Data that Cannot be Corrected:
Please be aware that neither phone number nor email address is changeable on the JAMB portal once used for registration, that is why it has always been stressed that candidates should keep them safe and retrievable. As such, your son is hereby advised to retrieve his email or https://t.co/BQ9wadz3Rr
